Shipping Policy

Atelier La Lacune S.A. ("we" or "us") is committed to delivering your order effectively and safely. Please review the following policy regarding the shipment of our products.

1. Processing Time

  1. Standard Processing: All orders are processed within 3 business days. Processing times may be extended during holidays, new launches, sales or other reasons outside or our control. 
  2. Order Cut-off: Orders placed after 11:00 AM EST will be processed the following business day.
  3. Modifications: Once an order has been processed or shipped, we are unable to modify the shipping address. Please double-check your details at checkout.

2. Important Note on Shipping Perfume (Hazardous Materials)

Because our perfumes contain alcohol, they are classified as Class 3 Flammable Liquids (Hazmat) by transportation authorities. This impacts how we can ship your items:

  1. Ground Shipping Only: In many regions, we are required to ship perfumes via Ground transportation. Expedited Air shipping is often unavailable or subject to high surcharges.
  2. Restricted Locations: We may be unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or certain remote islands where ground transportation is not possible.

3. Shipping Rates & Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to carrier constraints or weather.

4. International Shipping

We currently ship to most countries in the world. 

  1. Customs & Duties: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Atelier La Lacune S.A. is not responsible for these charges if they are applied; they are the responsibility of the customer.
  2. Hazmat Restrictions: International shipments of perfume are strictly regulated and may require longer transit times.

5. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will generally be active within 24 hours.

6. Damages and Issues

Atelier La Lacune S.A. is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

  1. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
  2. If your package is marked as "Delivered" but you cannot locate it, please check with neighbors and contact us immediately.

7. Incorrect Shipping Addresses

We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item.
